Willie Dean (Bonko) Brown the son of William Thomas and Ethel Elliott Brown was born in Shirley, Arkansas on May 9, 1933 and passed away at his home in Higden, Arkansas on May 16, 2012 at the age of 79 years.
Mr. Brown had been a resident of Higden since 1982 having moved there from Illinois. He was a 30 year retired employee of Caterpillar working as a heavy equipment operator. His religious belief was Baptist and he had been a member of the Masons for over 40 years, a Shriner having rode in Parades with the organization, member of the American Legion and VFW having served in the United States Army and he enjoyed hunting, camping and blue grass music.
He was preceded in death by his parents William Thomas Brown and Ethel Brown and two brothers J. C. Brown and Thomas Brown. He is survived by his wife Ella Lois Bittle Brown of Higden, two sons Ricky Brown and wife Pam of Higden and Roger Brown and fiancée Deborah Majors of Heber Springs, three sisters Lodeen Trammel of Greers Ferry, Doris Graddy of Morganton and Wanda Jean Berger of Independence, Missouri and a special granddaughter Debbie Brown, besides nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be on Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Shiloh Crossroads Church in Greers Ferry and funeral services will be at the church on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 2:00 PM by Rev. Benny Foster. Pallbearers will be Darrell Trammell, Larry John Davis, Nick Stark, Cecil Murphree, Brian Smith and Jimmy Beardsley; Honorary Pallbearers will be Randy Trammell, Dale Deckard, Jim Beardsley and Rodney James.




Julian Dewayne Burkett the son of Ralph and Rebecca Maxwell Hellard was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on December 28, 1950 and passed away at Searcy, Arkansas on April 29, 2012 at the age of 61 years.
